Not only from the legal obligation to prevent undesirable behaviour, but above all to create a pleasant working atmosphere and a socially safe working environment for all employees based on good employment practices. In the short term, it will be regulated by law that every organization with more than 10 employees will be obliged to engage an external confidential adviser.

A professional confidant contributes to a socially safe and ethical working environment. Employees can turn to a confidant if they are confronted with situations in which they experience undesirable behavior or witness integrity issues.

Duties of a confidant

  • Receiving, guiding and advising reporters;
  • Educating, informing and inspiring the organization;
  • Solicited and unsolicited advice to the board and management.
